Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Thursday there is "mutual interest" between the club and Clayton Kershaw in working out a contract extension. "This is not going to be a daily discussion point for us publicly," Colletti said. "But there is a mutual interest." Kershaw said late last month that the two sides had not yet started negotiating a new deal, and Colletti did not say Thursday whether they had talked yet. It's clear, though, that both sides are interested in getting something done well before Kershaw hits free agency after the 2014 season.
