Dodgers activated RHP Carlos Marmol. Marmol, acquired from the Cubs on July 2 in exchange for Matt Guerrier, posted a 2.53 ERA and 27/19 K/BB ratio in 21 appearances for the Dodgers. He coughed up just one run over his final 19 appearances of the regular season. Marmol wasn't used in Game 1's 13-inning loss to the Cardinals, but five of his bullpen mates were, which means that the right-hander should be prepared to go during Saturday afternoon's Game 2 tilt.
