Diamondbacks released INF Daryle Ward. Ward signed a minor league deal with Arizona in August and batted .318/.445/.471 with two home runs and 18 RBI over 110 plate appearances with Double-A Mobile. The 36-year-old hasn't appeared in the big leagues since 2008 as a member of the Cubs.
