Diamondbacks purchased the contract of 1B/OF Nick Evans from Triple-A Reno. Evans earned the promotion by batting .335/.393/.641 with 11 homers and 44 RBI over 44 games for Reno. He'll be used mostly as a bat off the bench for the D'Backs.
