Diamondbacks placed SS Stephen Drew on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26, with a right ankle injury. Drew broke his right ankle on a play at home plate last July and still isn't fully recovered. The D'Backs aren't sure when he's going to be ready for major-league action. Willie Bloomquist and John McDonald will handle shortstop duties for the time being.
