Diamondbacks optioned LHP Tyler Skaggs to Triple-A Reno. Skaggs was called up for the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Rangers and pitched brilliantly, striking out a career-high nine over six scoreless innings. He was always expected to be sent right back down, but the Diamondbacks have to feel good about what they saw from their young southpaw.
