Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers said he wants to bring Daniel Hudson back next season. Hudson will be arbitration eligible for the first time this winter. He hasn't pitched in more than a season-and-a-half, recovering from two Tommy John surgeries; Hudson has been accruing MLB service time on the disabled list. "We've got some time on that," Towers said, in reference to the Dec. 2 contract tender deadline to arbitration-eligible players. "We've tried to come up with creative ways that we can do it. We've got some ideas, some thoughts that we've kind of worked on, but we haven't approached him or his adviser yet. I'd certainly like to keep him here and work something out that works for both sides."
