Dexter Fowler was scratched from the Astros starting lineup for Friday's series opener against the Tigers due to back stiffness. Astros manager Bo Porter indicated that it was only a precautionary measure and that the team expected Fowler to return to the lineup in a day or two. Alex Presley will take his spot in the lineup and play center field.
