Dexter Fowler (intercostal) could be activated from the disabled list as soon as Saturday. That's the first day he's eligible. Fowler began some light hitting in the cage on Monday after resting for a few days following a platelet-rich plasma injection. Astros manager Bo Porter said the club won't wait until after the All-Star break to activate the outfielder if he's ready earlier. "Whenever he's ready to go, we're going to get him back in the lineup," Porter said. "If it's one or two games, every game is important. The only reason we decided to put him on the disabled list is we know he wasn't going to be ready in four or five days."
