Devenski allowed one hit over two scoreless innings in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Devesnki, who picked up his sixth hold of the season, protected the lead and helped make a winner of Mike Fiers who managed to stave off a demotion to the bullpen. This was the first time Devenski had pitched since last Friday. A couple of weeks ago, his unorthodox usage pattern had him on pace to top 100 innings, so manager A.J. Hinch made a conscious effort to manage the right-hander's innings. After averaging 2.1 innings per appearance during the month of April, Devenski is down to 1.1 innings per outing during May.
