Devenski (1-1) allowed two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out five over 2.1 innings in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Devenski was as dominant as ever, but showed he's human after all as he tired toward the end of his 44-pitch outing. He worked around an error to get into a third inning of work, but walked nine-hole hitter Yan Gomes before watching Francisco Lindor take him deep -- 456-feet deep -- for a two-run homer run that ended Devenski's night. Having thrown 51 pitches over the last two days, Devenski is probably unavailable until Sunday.
