The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Ryan O'Hearn. A waiver claim last May, Vallimont posted a 5.63 ERA and 105:50 K:BB ratio over 104 innings between Double- and Triple-A in 2022. The 25-year-old has shown he can miss some bats in the minors, but that hasn't translated to much success to this point.
