Derek Lowe was in vintage form again on Friday, limiting the Twins to just one run on five hits over 6 2/3 innings. Lowe struck out two and walked one on the night. He seemed to tire a bit in the seventh inning, allowing three hits and the lone run against him, which came courtesy of an RBI single from Brian Dozier. With the victory, Lowe improves to 7-3 on the season and lowers his ERA to a very impressive 3.06. While he's unlikely to continue pitching this well, he's worth owning and spot starting in good spots until he cools off. He'll look to keep rolling when he takes on the Tigers in Detroit on Wednesday.
