Derek Lowe allowed three runs on five hits and six walks in six innings of Wednesday's loss in Cincinnati. Lowe struck out four in falling to 7-5, and was lucky to escape with as little damage as he did. The six free passes tied a season-worst for the 39-year-old righty, while the quality start was just his second in four outings. He'll bring a 3.78 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and comic 28/26 K/BB ratio into his Monday start, where he'll get the Reds again, this time at home.
