Derek Jeter went 0-for-7 for the first time in his illustrious career in Friday's 14-inning loss to the Rays. Jeter had gone 0-for-6 four times, most recently on May 11, 2011. The seventh at-bat was particularly disappointing for him tonight; after the Rays intentionally walked Jacoby Ellsbury to load the bases in the 13th tonight, Jeter hit a grounder right back to Heath Bell to end the inning.
