Manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Taylor has been ramping up slowly in spring training after getting his right elbow scoped in November, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers don't seem overly concerned about the issue, which Roberts called "minor." Taylor, who has thus far been limited to designated-hitter duties in Cactus League play, is expected to make his debut in the field at second base as soon as Thursday, which would leaving him enough time to get up to speed by Opening Day. If Taylor suffers any setbacks and is forced to miss time, Gavin Lux would likely see an uptick in playing time.
