DeGrom's lat tightness has improved but not sufficiently enough for him to make his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Marlins, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.

DeGrom will be replaced by Logan Verrett in the rotation but there are no plans now for deGrom to be placed on the disabled list. If the tightness doesn't dissipate during the week, a stint of the disabled list may be in order.
