DeGrom turned in a quality start, albeit not to his normal standards, allowing three runs on nine hits, he did not walk a batter and struck out four over six innings. He came away with a no-decision in the Mets loss to the Msrlins in 11 innings Friday night.

He hasn't been quite as sharp lately, and the Mets are trying hard to keep his (and their other young starters) innings in check. In mid-August, his ERA was a microscopic 1.98 and it has now drifted up to 2.40 - still certainly solid, and most of that rise came in a rough start against the Phillies on August 25.
