DeGrom (shoulder) threw a successful 20-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. DeGrom threw only fastballs in this session, but is expected to add breaking pitches in another session that will occur mid-week. The right-hander said that his progress is "very encouraging," and if all goes well, he should return to the rotation this weekend. At the moment, the mostly likely day for his next start would be Saturday against the Dodgers.
