DeGrom (shoulder) could throw off a mound as soon as Sunday, Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com reports. DeGrom threw off flat ground Saturday for the first time since landing on the DL, but Rubin seems to think the Mets will be aggressive in advancing him through his throwing program. If the right-hander is cleared to throw a bullpen session Sunday, it would bode well for his chances of returning when first eligible or shortly thereafter.
