Dee Gordon went 2-for-5 with a triple and scored two runs as the Dodgers defeated the Nationals on Tuesday. Gordon notched his 13th multi-hit game out of 31 total. He tripled in the seventh inning with two outs and scored on left fielder Scott Hairston's fielding error, putting the Dodgers up 4-0 at the time. Gordon was not expected to be anywhere near as productive has he has been thus far, as evidenced by his .344/.376/.456 slash line and his league-leading 19 stolen bases. He has been a very welcome surprise contributor to the Dodgers.
