Lin has been diagnosed with a concussion, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Lin, who last played with Pawtucket on Aug. 26, was scheduled to be evaluated by the medical staff Saturday. The 25-year-old Lin is on the 40-man roster and will presumably join the Red Sox later this month if he's able to pass concussion protocol.
