The speedy outfielder had been sensational for the Tigers over the last two games, going 5-for-8 with six runs scored and three stolen bases while reaching base two additional times on a walk and hit by pitch. Davis was replaced by Anthony Gose on Sunday, who will take on an even larger portion of the center field duties if Davis' injury keeps him unavailable over the next few games.
