Davis (paternity) is expected to rejoin the Tigers for Friday's game against the White Sox, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports. Davis is thus in line to miss the maximum of three games that's allowed for a player on the paternity list. In his brief absence, Tyler Collins and Daniel Fields will serve as the backup outfielders.
