Davis (oblique) landed on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
After Davis was diagnosed with a Grade 1 right oblique strain following Monday's game against the White Sox, manager Buck Showalter suggested the first baseman would likely miss multiple weeks, so the DL move was fully expected. The Orioles purchased the contract of David Washington from Triple-A Norfolk to provide another option at first base, but it's expected that Trey Mancini and Mark Trumbo will see most of the reps at the position while Davis is sidelined.
