Davis is sitting against a left-hander, Chris Capuano, despite getting the nod against the Orioles' last two opposing southpaw starters. Meanwhile, after putting together a five-game hitting streak last week, Davis promptly reverted, going hitless in eight combined at-bats Saturday and Sunday. He'll yield first base to Steve Pearce, who is batting sixth in the order.
