Davis (groin) said he's going to try to play Sunday, the Detroit Free Press reports. Davis was lifted early yet again Friday, after only getting one bag on what probably should have been double in the fourth inning. He suffered a Grade 1 groin strain in the second-to-last game of the regular season, which threatened to keep him off the ALDS roster entirely, but Davis said he's feeling better every day and will going to try to give it another go in Game 3. However, the decision on whether or not he'll play will ultimately be made by manager Brad Ausmus.
