Davis declined his qualifying offer from the Orioles on Friday and remains a free agent, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Davis declined the one-year, $15.8 million offer, with a much more lucrative payday awaiting him on the open market. The 29-year-old rebounded from a 2014 season in which he hit under the Mendoza Line, posting a .923 OPS with 47 home runs in 2015, giving him 159 homers over the last four seasons.
