Davidson started at first base Thursday in place of the injured Jose Abreu (elbow) and went 1-for-5 with a run scored in a 5-4 loss to the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The injury doesn't sound like it will linger, but Davidson will be around in case it does. Davidson, who has resurrected his career in 2017, made his 10th start at first base and would need a more significant injury to reach the magical 20-start threshold. As it is right now, Davidson will qualify next season at third base and DH.
