David Wright (rib cage) could begin hitting off a tee Saturday but won't be ready to play in a game until at least early next week. The stiffness in Wright's side has subsided, but the Mets are still understandably taking it slow with him. There's still plenty of time for him to get ready for the season, assuming he doesn't have any setbacks. Wright is looking for a bounce-back year after being limited by a back injury last season.
