David Wright (intercostal) took batting practice Sunday for the first time since returning from the World Baseball Classic. MLB.com's Anthony DiComo tweeted that Wright was "letting it fly" and that "everything seems to be on track for him for Opening Day." It's not clear when the third baseman will be cleared to play in games, but he's now resumed fielding grounders and taken pain-free batting practice, so it shouldn't be long. Barring a setback, it appears he'll be at the hot corner on April 1 against the Padres.
