David Wright (intercostal) ran, took grounders and played catch Friday. While that's nice to hear, Wright still isn't ready to swing a bat and it's not clear when he will be. Mets manager Terry Collins believes that his newly-named captain will be ready for Opening Day against the Padres on April 1, but he'll be cutting it close.
