David Wright (finger) visited a hand specialist Thursday, who reiterated that the third baseman can "can return to baseball activity as tolerated." In other words, the diagnosis wasn't any different than what we were told Wednesday. Wright, who is currently wearing a splint, will likely test the finger out Friday before the Mets decide whether to place him on the disabled list. If he needs to miss a couple weeks, Daniel Murphy would slide over to third base while Justin Turner and Ronny Cedeno would split time at second base.
