David Wright continued his torrid hitting, going 3-for-5 with a homer in the Mets loss to the Padres on Thursday. He scored a run and drove home two on the night. He's now hitting a gaudy .405 on the season with five homers and 28 RBI. As impressive as Matt Kemp and Ryan Braun have been in the early going, Wright would definitely garner plenty of MVP consideration if the season were to end today. He's been the most critical factor in the Mets early season success, and has provided fantasy owners with tremendous production across the board.
