David Ortiz will try to test his ailing right Achilles on Wednesday. Ortiz was held out of baseball activities for the third straight day Tuesday. The veteran slugger is reluctant to return to the lineup until he's 100 percent, as he's due to hit free agency this winter, so there's no clear timetable for his return.
