David Ortiz swatted a three-run homer and delivered a go-ahead sacrifice fly Monday as the Red Sox snapped their 10-game losing streak with an 8-6 victory over the Braves. Making the start at first base under National League rules, Ortiz tied things up with his three-run homer in the fifth inning and put them ahead with his sacrifice fly in the seventh. The home run was his 12th of the season, but just his first extra-base hit since May 14. Coincidentally, that's also the date of Boston's last victory.
