David Ortiz said it would be "time to move on" if Boston doesn't offer a long-term contract. Ortiz wants to retire as a member of the Red Sox, but desires a long-term deal more. "Hey, I would like to," Ortiz said. "I'm having fun. It's been a hell of a ride as long as I've been here. But as I always keep on telling people, this is a business. Sometimes you've got to do what's best for you and your family." Ortiz, who reached 2,000 hits last season, has one year remaining on the two-year extension he signed last winter. Last year Ortiz blasted 30 homers and drove in over 100 runs for the first time since 2010.
