David Ortiz left Friday's game against the Indians with left heel soreness. Ortiz went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored before Darnell McDonald pinch-hit for him in the seventh inning. The severity of the injury isn't yet known, but he missed some time with a right heel injury last season. Stay tuned.
