David Ortiz (heel) told reporters that he is ready to join the Red Sox lineup on Friday night. Ortiz has missed the first 19 days of the 2013 regular season with inflammation in both of his heels. But he has been playing in minor league rehab games without discomfort and can be added to fantasy lineups immediately. The Red Sox are expected to demote outfielder Jackie Bradley in a corresponding move.
