David Ortiz (heel) still expects to be activated from the disabled list Friday. Ortiz missed a rehab game with Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday due to mild soreness in his left heel, but it's not a major concern, as he's back in the lineup Tuesday. "I've got another three games before I go to the bigs, so I think it will be fine," said Ortiz. "I'm seeing pitches. A guy like me, I have an idea about the things that I want to do." While the veteran slugger is optimistic, he'll have to make it through the next three games without a setback. The Red Sox are likely to send Jackie Bradley, Jr. down to the minors once Ortiz is ready.
