Chicago Cubs third baseman David Bote (shoulder) continued to work out last week and is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment this Friday, according to manager David Ross. Infielder Matt Duffy (back) began his rehab assignment on Monday and is eligible for activation from the 60-day injured list on July 22.
