Darvish has been diagnosed with a sprained UCL, Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reports. Tommy John surgery is being discussed, with an MRI showing damage to the UCL in Darvish's throwing elbow. It appears to be crushing blow to a Rangers team that dealt with countless injuries last year, but until the club receives additional consultation, there will not be an official decision regarding surgery. Darvish left Thursday's spring game with what was first labeled right triceps tightness.
