Darvish (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Sunday. Darvish isn't going to pitch again this season anyway, so the team made the move to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for Guilder Rodriguez, who the team added to the active roster Sunday. Darvish should be good to go for the start of next season, however, as he will use the rest of the season and the offseason to rehab.
