Darvish (elbow) is not expected to resume throwing before he returns home at the end of the season, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports. Darvish still has not been cleared to throw, more than a month after being shut down due to elbow inflammation, and he likely won't be before the end of September. The Rangers figure to monitor Darvish's progress closely in Japan in the offseason, though there's been nothing to suggest the right-hander is any danger of missing the start of the 2015 campaign.
