D'Arnaud, who was placed on the 15-day DL Tuesday, was diagnosed with a sprained left elbow. He will be eligible to return from the disabled list July 6, but with an elbow sprain it might be a longer wait than two weeks. Kevin Plawecki figures to be used as the primary catcher while d'Arnaud is out.
