D'Arnaud has a bone spur in his right elbow and will undergo surgery Wednesday, ending his season, The Record reports. D'Arnaud apparently first felt the injury Tuesday, and found out later that it was a bone spur. He had a good second half to the season, but it will end prematurely due to the injury. D'Arnaud will become a free agent in the offseason, and it wouldn't be surprising if multiple teams are interested in the 25-year-old catcher.
