D'Arnaud (elbow) is unlikely to be available until Tuesday's game against the Phillies, ESPN.com's Adam Rubin reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud is still dealing with some bruising on his left elbow after he was struck by a pitch in Saturday's game against the Indians, and the injury will result in him surrendering a start to Kevin Plawecki on Sunday. It sounds like d'Arnaud will remain out for Monday's series opener with the Phillies for precautionary purposes, but manager Terry Collins doesn't seem worried about a potential DL stint for the backstop. At this time, the Mets have no plan to call up a third catcher.
