Danny Santana was forced to leave Friday's game against the Yankees in the second inning due to an apparent injury. Santana doubled in his first at-bat then proceeded to swipe third base. As he dove into third though, it appeared as though his helmet came off and cut him in the face near his eye. With the medical staff unable to stop the bleeding, Aaron Hicks came in to pinch-run for him. The Twins should have an update on his status shortly.
