Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com reports that the Rays are close to a deal for Yunel Escobar. Both Knobler and colleague Jon Heyman expect the trade to be completed Tuesday night. Knobler says the Marlins are expected to receive infield prospect Derek Dietrich back in the deal. Escobar's makeup concerns are well documented, and he's coming off a year where he batted just .253/.300/.344, but he's under team control cheaply through 2015.
