Danny Duffy will be skipped on his next turn through the Royals' rotation due to elbow tightness. The Royals don't believe the ailment to be serious, but they're not going to take any chances with their 23-year-old left-hander. Everett Teaford seems likely to fill in Friday against the Twins. Duffy has a 3.63 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 20/10 K/BB ratio in 17 1/3 innings this season.
